Question What is this?

Hi just recently bought another b5 (98). As i was washing the car i notice a hard hose sticking out the right rear wheel well liner. What could it be? Its like see through and hard. I could see fluid or dirt inside it. Please help. I have no clue what this is. TIA!

Fuel filler overflow tube? I think it should be behind the wheel well liner.

I think that this may be the antenna for the keyless entry. If I remember correctly, the wire should be inside of that tube that goes up to the central locking pump in the right rear of the trunk. It should be behind the liner.

Any chance someone routed the sunroof drain wrong? It's supposed to exit behind the rear bumper.

I'm pretty sure that's the tube that the other end is right under the gas cap, no 100% sure on what it does

I saw your post and was curious so I did a search and one answer was... quoted "If this is on the passenger side, it could be the overflow drain for the gas tank. If you look where you fill the gas, theres a hole on the bottom of the recess. Its to drain any excess gas that doesnt make it down the pipe." and the other was Sunroof drain tubes.

Not sure if this is the correct answer.
