i found some satin black paint in the garage and did mine

 

looks good... i might end up doing that chrome piece today too

Mr. Phil good looks on painting that surround. I'm gonna undertake the rings and surround paint job in the coming weeks. I can't wait to see how it'll looks. Good job, I would have loved to see what the red rings looked like after you painted the surround black though.

 

yea i know... but the red was just too... idk.. loud.. like it didnt fit on the black car.. i thought it would look good but ehh it didnt lol.. but once i get the car painted if i keep her im gonna give a bunch of pics of what im going to do.. u will like it im sure

matte black surround/rings. Maybe I'll paint the vents too, but for now I like it.

did u take youra off with heat gun or "fishing wire" cuz i wanna do mine too.. jsut not sure on the proper procedure withough the heatgun
