Yep, thanks for the encouragement. Taking them in, and watching them use the synthetic oil and high quality filter... (I've heard bad things)

good idea. And make sure they don't use a god damn impact gun to put the drain plug back in. Last time I took my 97 in for an oil change they used a torque bar on an air gun to torque the drain plug and I had to use a 2ft. breaker bar to get the ****** off

This is the "What did you do to your C5 today" thread right?

Commence thread jacking....

Picked up some synthetic 5W-40, new jack stands (don't trust the old ones), new drain pan and seafoamed the crank case. Just need to grab a new oil filter, and an oil change will follow.

-you may now resume with your B5'ing

It was indeed a good day, especially because there was more powder at the hill than I've seen in a while!

I totally understand about the oil changes though, I have been putting mine off for a while now, its been like -20 (C) for the past few weeks, finally got a nice weekend, -2ish, so I figured I would get it done! I just put my old winter coat/snow pants on, throw a tarp down on the ground and man up :P

Forgot to mention that I also changed my wipers, I think I still had the originals on there :P I wanted to get the BOSCH Icons but I couldnt find any locally and with the blizzard we were having I needed to get something! The rain-x wipers were 10$ off so I picked up a pair, so far they are amazing!
