I was driving when I noticed this, so of course I felt the need to do a quick 3rd gear pull at 24psi just to show the odometer what's up

I pulled over and took a pic when mine turned 200K too. Nice milestone.

Sold my 98.5 A4 yesterday! Went to a good friend, who was my best man at my wedding. Definitely a bittersweet time and I can hardly believe the car is gone. It was "my" first car, went through a lot with that thing!

Replaced front and rear stock speakers with 5 1/4" in the front and 6 1/2" in the back.
Unsuccessfully did a double din conversion / upgraded head unit.

I cannot get power to the head unit, will try again tomorrow!

I found this article very helpful when disassembling the console:
http://www.audiworld.com/tech/int3.shtml

Also, when removing the rear shelf, if you have a car without the option for rear fold down seats (like mine), you have to get a grip on the rear shelf between the rear seats and the start of the shelf and give it a good pull in the middle, on the left and right to unclip the 3 clips which will then let you slide the rear shelf out (assuming you have already removed the 3 child restraints and disconnected the middle brake light connector from in the boot).

picked up fat fives! wasnt really looking for rims right now, but i really like them and its pretty hard to find someone selling those, at least where i live. now a question, what size tires should i get? the rims are 18x8.5 et35, would 225/40/18 be good? the color on rims is plasti dipped, they are white under it. i will see how it looks with my silver b5 first.

Your A4's rear seats don't fold down?!? Had no idea that was an "option", can't imagine why anyone would not want their back seats to fold down. It's one of the useful features of this car!

The offset on these is actually et45. 225/40 is what I run on mine.
