Default what do you guys think

I know there use to be a specific thread for this but i couldn't find it.

99 audi 1.8t black 5 speed 116000miles apr chip remus muffler, intake tube, fresh head at 70k, face lift center dash, sport package, pretty damn clean (no dent's, scratches yada yada) needs abs sensor in the rear (abs light flashes didn't have my vag-com to confirm) and maybe abs module (solid abs light which could be the light on for the abs sensor?). He's asking 4200 FIRM and it comes with a ton of extras (from dash swap, two extra rims, few other things, and an ebay k04 brand new (piece of **** i know)

is this worth the 4200. I have been looking for a black 1.8t now since december and found this one.

Let me know what you think

According to Kelley Blue Book, it's worth $4,194 in excellent condition (read: showroom). The fresh head at 70k is nice but the eBay turbo frightens me. What's the turbo on the car? Stock? New DV? Was the TB changed at all? Any of the general maintenance **** done? Just because he modded it doesn't mean it's well taken care of.

Also, read the FAQ at the top of the forum page. It'll answer most of your questions.

forgot to mention forge bybass valve stock k03 Tb hasn't been done. for maintenance i know brakes (hence rear abs light i guess he broke it doing so) front axle and the sensor on top of the intake box. All of this within the last year. I knew the kelly blue book but i mean he did swap the dash, has it tinted, rims, yada yada and i was just wondering if you guys thought this was a fair price.

Being a fellow enthusiast, I can appreciate how much effort went into all the work he did. That said, the unfortunate truth is that those mods just don't impact the overall value of the car. That's just the way it is. If its worth a few extra hundred bucks to you to get all that extra stuff, then I think you should pay it. But with mileage that high on the original timing belt, I'd be hard pressed to pay what he's asking, even with all the extra ****.
