Default What DV do I have?

I read about bad DV valves. With the K04 going in next week, I want to check what DV valve I have actuall installed. How can I find out?
What, if anything SHOULD I get?

If you don't know what kind of DV you have, most likely it's stock, which is old, and while it may be working now, it will probably fail once you put that K04 in. Might as well replace it with a good quality upgrade just to be sure you're getting the most gains from your upgrades.

Is there a serial number on the DV or other identifiers to find out what DV is installed?

Can you recommend a 'good quality upgrade' (and source) to fit the K04?

Yes that is your DV/BPV. That is a APR R1, you can even see the APR stamped on the top.

Thanks Mike. Is that thing any good? I read that the 710N (upgrade from the 710A) is preferred (no maintenance). Do I need to check it or do maintenance on it?
