I have a 99 A4. 1.8T.

I'm leaning more towards the sound to be honest.

What is there really out there?

I've search ebay on "Forge splitter", but I've already read people saying different.

What do you guys recommend?

-Stock motor/turbo/intake
-3 inch down pipe
-2.5 exhaust

That took 10 seconds. If i had a turbo i'd be able to offer more help but thats at least a place to start.

Don't feel stupid man, no worries. That was just the best I could do cause I don't have a fancy motor with BOV's and DV's and BIG's and POS's and whatever else you 1.8 guys have to worry about

 

Haha true. Been reading mainly in maintenance stuff. Seeing what to do to keep these motors running healthy.

Do you know why people say Forge spliiter and put numbers behind? Not too familiar when they add "007" "024", etc

 

there is a guy selling a 004 right now, it is on page 1

had one, got rid of it, cause it made me sound fast when i wasn't
