Default what a fail

today i decided to debadge my audi and after taking off the 2.8 quattro i found out that someone probably debadged it before because there were some deep scratches under the sign. i liked the way it looked but i couldnt stand the scratches so i decided to put the badges back on. FML!

some very fine grit paper and water should fix those scratches as long as they aren't too deep.... now if they are deep, you could feather in some paint and clear to possibly fix it

i just debadge my 2.8 trunk and it had been badged so long that the sticky didn't come all the way off, so i am going to probably swirl sand that just like my hood..... till i paint my car

trunk is white car is ebony pearl...... fml....... not

Yeah, some really fine sanding and a little compound would do the job!

that sucks, i just debadged my 2.8 and i probably could have pulled them off with my fingers. less than 20 minutes with some mineral spirits and there is no sign of them. hopefully you can buff those scratches out.

i dont think that they will come off. the scratches are kinda deep and wide. good thing that i had some double sided tape to put the badges back on

I just debadged mine and luckily the paint was in good condition underneath. Theres still a light shadow of the A4 I need to try and work out though.
