I'm sure you can get coilpacks at some Pep Boys or Kragen.

They should run somewhere around $30.

If they know what they do, they should know it. It should look like the picture I posted.

Good luck!

you have a 2.8, that coilpack is for a 1.8t. 2.8's use three central coil packs that look like this

it comes as one unit and should be somewhere around $200. a misfire could also be due to old plugs or wires, when were they last changed?

And you will end up replacing these inferior packs in 5K miles when they crap out again. Coil packs should be purchased OEM ONLY. They have enough problems as it is, don't buy cheap imported (usually Chinese) crap. They are only $33 list each from the dealer. Don't but them elsewhere.

But anyway... same deal with the older V6 coil pack. Don't cheap out, get a genuine replacement. You'll usually find rust on older ones and the plastic will crack off. It's a tell-tale sign of a bad V6 coil pack.

You're probably right. However, I had to get one at Pep Boys before since I was on a road trip when it blew.

It had lasted me over a year now with more than 10K (pretty sure).
