i took my car out last night and there was a CEL. its says im misfiring but im definitely not, and the CEL is not flashing. and i definitely didn't exceed maximum engine speed ever. is it referring to speed (mph) or revs? i haven't run the car hard in weeks and never hit redline. all the other codes are there from last time

that's weird, i redlined my car once by accident and nvr got a code for it.

You dont get a cel from hitting redline. Just reset the code and dont worry about it unless it comes back.

so then what does the code get thrown for? im not really concerned about any problems associated with it, what i am concerned about is i got an ******* roommate who doesn't have a car and always asks me to drive him places. i've recently got fed up with it and wont drive him anywhere anymore cause he will never throw me gas money and im not gona pay for it cause he's a loser and spends all his money on 80" plasma tv's and designer clothes instead of a car. and there's a possibility he took my car while i was out partying (left my key on the table[:@]) so if this is the proof of that, im gona go kick his ***
