you should definitely paint the intake runners I think. I painted mine silver and it made it look a lot newer. or just polish them. the cover looks interesting in a not bad way

no your eyes do not decieve you... that was from the previous owner... i just havent had the money for a coolant flush yet

 

yes the silver things in the middle, I just used silver caliper paint. sand them down some and mask off the rest of the engine bay with some newspapers and spray some coats

x2 about the green coolant. you shouldn't use anything but g12

audi dealers sell the coolant. I wouldn't trust that universal stuff too long in there. it might be fine if it was completely filled with that coolant since the last flush and not just added to the vw/audi coolant..
