Default What is this part called?

What's the name of the pipes that run between the radiator and the fan, the pipes are hooked to the left side of the radiator and like I said before they run all the way across the radiator. Any ideas?

Its a 1.8T, I think they are called engine oil cooler lines but I'm not sure.

That's my bet. They run coolant to and from the oil cooler. They're at the bottom.

Yeah I went to the dealer looking for one and it was $260 and they had to get it shipped. I don't even know how it broke but now I need to go hunting for one as it seems to be a very hard piece to find. Also the name they gave me was engine oil line for anyone else looking at that piece.

You could make a new one out of generic heater hose for about $10. Nothing magic about it. Its function is exactly the same as a heater hose.

What oil cooler hoses go near the radiator? Mine go from the cooler where the filter near the back of the block to near the thermostat at the front of the block. The only lines that go near my radiator are the 3 coolant hoses (inlet, outlet, expansion tank), the power steering hoses that run around the left side (from perspective of sitting in the drivers seat) and across the bottom front of the radiator, the A/C lines on the right side, and the intercooler hoses/pipe across the bottom that lead to the SMIC.

Sorry, this is a 1.8. They run across the front of the motor near the radiator on the 2.8.

Here is the piece I'm talking about, I had to take mine out again (for the third time) because the quick fix didn't work, now I'm looking to have a new one made from scratch.

OK, It's a trans cooler line. Might get one at a junkyard. Note the VIN split ECS talks about.
