Hey, quick question, what size are the front speakers of audi a4 96- 01

4 1/2" at least in a '96 they are

 

I think they're actually some oddball size, and you will most likey need adapters to make anything fit...

 

^This. The sizes differ depending on what stereo options your car came with, and any after market replacement will require fab work by you to get them to fit right. I wouldn't go any bigger than 5.25" either way, though.

 

my 2000 has 4 1/2"s, and my sony 3 ways fit right in

nope. my 2.8 did but this one doesnt

 

Ahhh gotcha, maybe its just the symphony speakers that are oddly sized then?

 

yea i ripped the whole driver door set of bose out just because haha. i still have them around here somewhere. my stereo sounds pretty damn good though i think
