what size are the rear speakers behind the seats
okay so 6 1/2 does anyone have a opinon on these speakers? http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_c...hp?comp_id=503
JL speakers tend to be fine. Not the best, but certainly decent. I think they're overpriced, especially for coaxials, but what JL stuff isn't overpriced? What are you running up front? Front is 10000000000000x more important. If I had a limited budget, I'd upgrade the fronts and not use the rears at all.
In my last car (a Camaro), I took all the speakers out but the fronts (which I upgraded considerably) and a 12" subwoofer that I put in the back.
But if you use all 4, you should stick to similar speakers. At least same brand, or if you're familiar with the sound of speakers, same tone.
By the way, I highly recommend Rainbow. http://www.rainbow-audio.de/

125?
Polk speakers are OK, yes, not more. You could always get some really good speakers up front and move the Polks back if you're not concerned about them matching
Also, yeah, Type-R is overrated crap. They're good for a slight upgrade over most stock systems, but...
