What type of coilovers?!?
My shop recommended that I do kw variant 2 without sacrificing too much on the ride for tunability (dampening and lowering adjustability)

Shop around for the best price, I've seen them lower than their site, www.rapidparts.com has them for $1673, but yet it depends on what you want what car you have. Eibach http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe...16827900017392 and H&R http://www.hrsprings.com/ has them too. It also comes down to how much you wnat to spend also and wht your looking for.

I have STaSIS coilovers. Fantastic setup for street driveability and handling at the same time.
Most people tend to do H&R springs / Bilstein shocks if they don't do coilovers; which, in the end, is a tad bit cheaper, but if you want the adjustability of coilovers, then Koni / Stasis is your best bet.

If you're getting coilovers there's no need for new springs
And for struts, stock ones are fine. Remember, you're driving a very lightly modified street car not a high-performance track machine that needs the absolute best of everything.

True, but I hope to autox also. So I had figured coilovers were the way to go. But if getting springs/struts are that much cheaper but still perform as well, that may be another option.
Shocks/springs combo works just as well as coilovers, but without the room for adjustability. I decided to go with coilovers over shocks/springs because I want it raised slightly for winter-mode driving, and slammed during the summer.
