what would you recommend for a intake?

oh ya and for those of you who have a test pipe is there a noticeable gain in performance?

Then add the cone filter and get rid of the top of the airbox. Keep the bottom to rest cone filter on. Also you can take heatshield off of top of air box and zip tie it in. However I'd recommend getting a new heatshield from meloman.

You will notice a lot more noise coming from the engine and turbo. This may also be wishful thinking but I feel like I got more throttle response too (Not power just quicker response). All for the cost of a $25 cone filter and 5 minutes of your time.

If you want more racket out of your DV, get a forge splitter. Run it 50/50 vent/recirc., no more. A test pipe will get you more low end torque and faster spool.

Thanks for all your.help guys. And perfect! test pipe is perfect then, seems like it takes forever.for the turbo to spool up lol.

Thanks for your help, ill look into it. Im just not much of a fan when it comes to oiled filters.

Yah no problem. Im pretty sure you can get non-oiled cone filters too but not sure.
