More realistically, something with 250whp should be pretty quick as a daily and spool up almost like stock.

thats it? 250 thatz a K04 and supporting modz. i say 350-400 low boost would be a safe choice on stock internals. but why aim, for that when you can just rebuild it and make a reliable 5-700hp monster.

 

Define "beast."

You could do a worked head, 2L stroker, high compression pistons and run a PTE6262 or HX35 on standalone and make 700hp on high boost but I would hardly call that a "daily driver." You'd have to keep it wound out to like 6k all the time to stay in the power band.

Read the turbo upgrade info thread in the FAQ sticky at the top of this forum. Decide what your power/budget goals are and go from there.
