Default whats the deal with aftermarket heater cores for our B5's? Ok or OEM only?

I am looking into changing my heater core, way ahead of schedule for next winter.

After dealing with a fogged windshield this past winter, I'm not trying to go through that again.

Anyone replaced their heater core with a aftermarket one? if so, what's the verdict?

I found these on esctunning. The cheap skate versions are dirt cheap, compared to the OEM Audi brand. which brand would you guys recommend? MTC or ACM?

Then there's this one, febi brand here for 55.40 Audi Volkswagen Heater Core - Febi 8D1819030B | FCP Euro

let me know...thanks in advance.

I wish I remember what brand I bought, but I did an aftermarket one on my dear departed 96 A4 at 220,000 miles. I only drove it another 50,000 miles, but it was fine. There isn't a whole lot to the part. It's basically a radiator, and that "technology" is pretty well established.
