Will A3 wheels fit a B5?

 

depends on the offset but I think they should, look for an offset around 35

 

A3 offset is something like +55 iirc

 

hey thanks guys, had to do some searching but looks like its around 40-45... darn...

 

well don't quote me because I'm still confused exactly what all the offset stuff means, butI would think you might be able to get some spacers to get them to work?


anyone want to correct// teach me basically what offset is, I mean i know the technical definition of it but I don't fully understand why it matters on wheels.

I'm pretty sure I've seen 17" 16 spoke A3 wheels on a B5 on here. It was in some guy's avy, and I'm pretty sure he even posted some pics. Can't remember what his screenname was, though.[:@]

 

They'll fit with a 20mm spacer.
