where can i get drivers side switch panel.

Still could be the convenience module - not everything typically dies at once - many people notice losing various functions over time. Could also be a fuse I guess. If not a fuse then an electrical short or a loose wire.

Can't really help you any more until you get it VAGed.

yeah, should this throw a code? ill get it done like tomorrow. just have to see if the guy that has it around here will be free to administer the test.

If it doesn't throw a code I would look for something simple like an unplugged connector or something...
