Default Where to install boost gauge?

I can't bring myself to spend $200 on a vent gauge pod, so what other options are out there for my B5? Please post where you have yours mounted (besides AWE Vent Piece) and pictures if available. Thanks!

its not too hard to do the vent yourself, all you need is a file or a dremel or something and a little bravery. I did it, took me about 30 minutes to file down the vent. I don't have the audizine thread handy, but search around here and you can probably find a link. As far as I'm concerned, the vent mount is the best looking option, and doing it yourself saves you like a hundred bucks.

go with the colum mount from ESC, it was like $80 and came with the VDO gauge, otherwise the pod was like $30 i think, the only down side is it blocks the display in the dash that tells you what gear your in (sucks for tip mode) other wise i love it!

If you are planning on mbc(manual boost controller) at some point, you can get a ebc that has a boost guage. More expensive, but if you were planning on a boost controller anyways with ebc you can get the boost guage pretty much for free

x2. Those are the only options worth doing IMO.

Not sure if i like that one or not.

I just cut out the vent on the drivers side between the steering wheel and the window. Looks nice and clean!
