Default Where to jack B5

Seems like a stupid question, but is there any way someone could take pictures of where to jack a B5 up with a floor jack?

Also, where to place jackstands without bending **** too bad.

Basically, I'm trying not to bend anything in the process, or bust holes into my floor, never jacked this thing up and I am getting horrible front end noises that I need to check out soon or I feel like a wheel is going to fall off on the highway, LOL

Pictures are worth a lot! But if you can explain it with words, feel free!

Thank you!

i like to go to the front right behind the wheel and get on the read sub frame mount, the one that contains the little cross member piece. Then place the jack on the pinch weld. For the rear, I go to the loop under the rear diff, or a block of wood and get the rear diff. Whatever you do try as hard as possible not to jack on the pinch welds without and adapter or just in general. Over time they bend and then its impossible to jack on. Dont jack on the oil pan either.

If you look behind the front wheel you will notice an upside down traingle on the lower side skirt. Same with the rear. This is where you will place your jack stands.

Jacking this car is not at all intuitive compared to the other cars I've owned. Let me try to get this straight

Jack w adapter at pinch weld and place jack stand at the triangular bubble part interior to the pinch welds. It just doesn't look very strong there it looks like thick sheet metal.

Completely agree. There's no problem with jacking at the pinch welds as long as you do it right.

After awhile though they get bent and mangled and you realize it would have just been nicer to use the other points.

especially when you try to take off your front fender, as two of the bolts attach the the pinch weld.
