Default Who has a Bentley Manual!?

I need the info on how to check for coilpacks functioning with VAG-COM. I was told there was info to see if the plugs were firing, you have to code some stuff into the ECU to run a diagnostics check? I'm not sure on specs, but if you have a Bentley, I bet you can find them for me! Please please please! My car has been sitting for weeks and I need to know whats wrong with it!

if its misfiring it will throw a code...you can cross referrence codes on internet. theres a wiki somewhere. the vag should tell you what cyclinders are misfiring anyway.

It WAS misfiring, now it wont start. I think its not sparking, but I want to be sure. Cylinder two was a code, but it also had random misfires on all cylinders.

If you send me your email address and your engine code I will send you the scanned in pages from the Bentley manual you are looking for. The Bentley manual has different sections for each engine code - the tests are probably all the same regardless of engine type but I don't think you want all the pages.

I emailed you the ignition section of the Bentley manual. Hopefully it helps you.

it might be worth checking your dealer if they are under recall. I have an AWM and they replaced mine at no cost
