it took AGES!!!! haha only because the front springs where being a **** and the little plastic pieces that block the bolts on the top where like basically glued on there and we had to break them off and a bunch of crap it was craziness and then compress the springs, it took me a good 6 to 7 hours because of the problems!!! in the front and taking the time to compress ALL the springs, but when you get to the rear its easy
but you still gonna have to compress the springs, for me i didnt have to compress the rear to get the springs on but i did have to in order to get the old springs off. If you never done it before there might be some things that will take some time doing because you have yet to figure out how to maneuver them out, they got tutorials on audiworld.com if you want more info but i dont think it should take you that long to do it your self but it will get tiring compressing a total of about 6 times and uncompressing another 6 times next time im going to use a impact wrench it will be alot faster...

it's a two person one day job...use some pb plaster and expect the unexpected!
when I say a day it may take between 5 and 7 hours depending on "obstructions" and the ammount you have drank in this period of time...
gl! I'm sure it will come together just fine!
don't forget to take lots of pictures!

Took me and a friend 6 hours to install coilovers in his garage with jack stands.
Only reason it took so long is because neither of us had done a FWD Audi before, but once we figured out one of the rears, the other side literally took all of 5 minutes, while the fronts took about 35 mins respectively. The 6 hours is from the moment the jack initially touched the car to the time that I had all 4 corners at the right height I wanted

It also depends on if you have siezed bolts or not too. some times they need to be cut off. so have a few extra to be safe. I would say that the longest part is adjusting everything to make them the same height or how you want it!!!
thanks so much guys this really helps a lot
