Why does a 2001.5 have H/L washers, when they don't actually work?

Is there a button I'm missing, or what?

I took my bumper off and I'll be damned if they weren't right there under the covers.

Any ideas?

The headlight washers activate when you use the windshield washers and have your headlights on.

 

But they do...

 

The headlight washers have their own pump, separate from the windshield washer pump. They could be shot.

 

Oh, so perhaps they've been working this entire time and I've just never known about/witnessed them working. I've always assumed the cover caps were there to cover the empty holes.

I'll have to check that that out. I've always liked the idea of having that feature.

Nope the cover pops out. Have a friend turn them on and you'll see them pop out.
