So we all know the cool window trick, hold the key and the windows roll up and down...so one day the rear driver side window won't go down, it'll go up but not down. Everything else is fine, the controls on both doors work fine, and like I said i can do the trick to roll it up, just not down........any ideas?

 

Well the windows are connected to the central locking pump with 2 wires (one for up and one for down). So when you try and roll the windows down maybe the wire for that is faulty.

This would explain why it works on the button as that will communicate directly with the windows controller (not via the central locking controller).

If you look on here for wiring diagram links for central locking etc then you should be able to find out which colour wires connect to what.
