Unhappy Will i never have ac?

Alright so i know its not IMPOSSIBLE for me to get my AC working again, but heres the situation.

I needed to replace some of the front end parts on my car so i ended up taking the whole radiator/condensor assembly and plastic...holster? I'm going to call it... off of my parts car and bolting it up onto mine.
So after some paint and body work I've got my car looking mint. But i went to recharge the AC and found there to be no low pressure service valve. (where you would normally tap into for the recharge). And after some research i found that the low pressure recharge for 1996 a4's is on the front passenger side of the radiator/condensor. but the radiator/condensor i put on must be from a 97 where the low pressure service valve is on the upper left part of the engine bay on the aluminum piping next to where the high pressure valve is.

So I'm wondering what my best option would be to recharge my AC without replacing the radiator/condensor again. Give me your best input! any help would be appreciated because I'm moving to Georgia soon and AC is a must.

The radiator is for coolant, the condenser (in front of the radiator) is for the A/C system.

You can charge through the high-side, but you'll need a low-side valve as well for diagnostic purposes. You can try swapping the line from your parts car with the low-side valve . It should also be vacuumed and leak-tested before charging, especially if you've swapped major components. Put it together and take it to a shop with a RobinAir or A/C machine for the rest.

Thanks for the info. Anyone know a way to reattach some kind of low pressure valve without changing the condenser? To make sure i have the ability to make everything work properly.

Geno,
I just talked to your dad about your car today. LOL
Good you got Flippant's bumper and it's all painted.
But w/o AC you'll be asking all the girls for rides in their cars down in Georgia, haha.
Good luck dude, Bogie.

Can you swap the low-side line at the H-block? It should run from the H-block at the fire wall to the condensor, but there might be a joint in there somewhere.

dude its been discused plenty, just get a gm low side retrofit and rethread the low side port, then stick a paperclip in the low side sensor to complete the circuit and recharge, theres a DIY somewhere out there that i used to recharge my 12v. I also totally agree with your sig, i too drive the 12v, so bite me.
