Will a VAG-COM.......
I have warnings in the center lcd screen that i would like cleared, is vag-com capable of clearing these? I also have the flashing abs brake light and would like to know if this can be cleared. - Thank you
what warning lights? Is the brake light on, or come on intermittently with the ABS light?
It WILL clear them, BUT they'll prbably come back....it won't clear the abs light either, if there IS a problem, you can not clear them, they will come right back!
It will 'usually' clear intermittent codes, but, they will come back...

You can't clear those warnings without fixing the problem. The flashing abs and brake light means your abs control module is broken. Search on rebuilding them.
The warnings in the center display could be anything from low windshield washer fluid, front brake pad wear, headlight/tailight out, low coolant, etc. They all mean something and should be fixed, not ignored.

In the center screen I have a low washer fluid warning although there's fluid in there and the headlight tail light malfunction warning even though all my lights work. The previous owner said the ABS brake light came on after he had brakes done. but it's most likely the module. The reason I asked about clearing these is because of the chime when you start the car letting you know of the warnings.
OK, if the ABS light came on after the brakes were done, I"M guessing (almost 100% sure) the mechanic PROBABLY screwed up one, two or all ABS sensors...Y? Because he usually doesn't work on AUDIs!!!
They are quite spendy (sensors), but worth replacing, you can get them out without taking the axle off IF THEY ARE not rusted in the shaft...which is common.....OR I've seen inexperienced AUDI mechanics CUT the sensor on accident as well....with the tire off, you can find the sensors, just follow the 'electrical' wire, they come out the TOP of teh wheel well in the front, and UNDER the rear passenger doors in the back and go to the axle area, behind the brake rotor/caliper, almost looks like a cigarette lighter when it's pulled out.......if it's stuck, be VERY CAREFUL pulling it out, they break quite easily, and you can cause MORE damage by forcing them out.
The low washer fluid is just the sensor.....or maybe a lose wire, or someone unplugged taht as well...

you might find that ONLY ONE sensor is bad, OEM ones are pricey, you CAN get aftermarket ones cheaper, but that's up to you....OR maybe one of the sensors is JUST unplugged, if you have a VAG, it will tell you which brake sensor is bad....also, it will/should give you a code for teh washer fluid and the lights...which will narrow it down...
Check all your fuses too....once these issues are resolved, reset it with the VAG and your chime will go away.....

The low washer sensor triggers when you have about 1/2 gallon left. For my 2001 A4, the whole reservoir takes 1 gallon. Now why is the sensor located at the position where there's 50% fluid left? I would guess it's for people who like to put off putting washer fluid in there and the constant reminder would theoretically bug them enough to fill it before the 1/2 gallon is completely out.
