Default Windshield Washer Leaks

i needed to use the windshield washer but it wouldn't spray.. when i got home i checked it out i had someone hold down the spray while i took a look.. I heard it pumping and also a loud gushing noise above my driver side wheel, im guessing the reservoir is just emptying it out could be hose connecting to it. it doesn't leak any other time only during use, also the headlight washers aren't working either(I dont care much about that). Its 15 deg outside and just looking for any tips before standing in the cold checking the problem. Would front bumper removal be necessary?

newb question(first Audi) but i am having trouble locating the nozzle for the windshield spray. My hood color is slightly different from the car so im guessing the previous owner had a new hood put on.

Searched "Windshield Washer Leaks" Only 2 pages no help =\

I'm fairly certain your problem lies within the headlight washer pump, located near the very bottom of the reservoir. Check that first, mine was cracked wide open and spewing fluid everywhere. To remedy the problem I just completely removed the pump and applied some waterproof sealant to the hole in the reservoir where is was connected. Of course, if you wanted to keep your headlight washers working, you could just replace the broken pump instead.

The sprayer nozzles should be pretty apparent on the hood. There's two bumps on the hood, each one has two jets in it. In the pic below you can see them pretty well on either side of my inspection sticker.

If your car is like mine your washer jets will be located on the bottom side of the hood and constantly becoming disconnected from the fluid supply hoses. I'm guessing most b5's have them mounted on the top instead.

my spray nozzle is not on the hood like yours CCA4, which is weird lol.. I've had this car for 2 months and noticed my hood was a different color so i figure it was a different hood

I have a CF hood now, but they're mounted in the same location as they were on the stock hood. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.
