I was just looking randomly on e-bay and found this turbo kit. It includes some things i wouldn't use but i think for everything else it could be a great buy. What are you thinking about this?

THe only thing of value in that whole kit is the piping. Its a waste since the turbo and everything is complete crap. Avoid ebay turbo products. The intercoolers are ~0k~, but still on the low quality side.

 

its mostly what i look for on e-bay. I just feel that $1000-$1100 is worth a nice FMIC. I want to have one installed within the next couple of months but dont know how to go about it. Will any FMIC advertised as working with A4 1.8T do the job?

 

Depends on what your looking for. Some are made for stock turbos and some are for more power. You need to find one for your needs

 

a nice Garrett FMIC should be around $800, not as much

 

I'm pretty sure i saw something on here about this kit a while back, i cant find the thread,but as cincyTT said the turbos are crap and the whole kit is pretty much no good. -nick
