Yes mike has a single turbo set up, and its not a "new" notion. Its been around for years and years.

yea... 2jz single big turbo... most guys with the rb26 go single turbo too and they push upwards of 1300hp... single is better for almost all apps... and it sounds sexier too.. i wanna see someone convert a veyron to a single turbo... which is prolly impossible hahaha

I think what osin meant is that its rare you see someone convert an S4 to single turbo. Mike started with the A4 1.8T platform and bored it out to 2.0L and some other crazy ****.

Single turbos are not good for all aplications if you can go TT. Like auditech said single turbo is better for drag racing application. For a circuit or street application a TT setup is better because the power doesn't suddenly come on like large turbos. Mike is single turbo because he has a 1.8 not a 2.7 engine.

yea i was gunna say mike is a 1.8 a4 bored out to 2.0 or more by now, hes not running a single turbo off of the 2.7biT platform.. but yea this was definatley the first time ive seen this let alone even entertained the idea haha.. ill have to check out those builds its a wicked cool setup.. but yea makes sense cause this thing hits full boost at like 4500RPM and for a street setup those two turbos gets you your boost alot faster..
