Going rate for that kind of car is in the mid teens, and depending on how you word it, with a new engine, high teens at *most*. *Especially* in today's economy. My car is a 2003 1.8T quattro 5-speed, same mileage, full maintenance records, and clean car fax; and I wouldn't expect to see 5 digits for it, even private sale.

I have a 2005 A4 V6 with 27 miles that I am selling for under $18k. The car is immaculate. IM me if interested. My daily ride is my 2000 A6 and I no longer need the A4. I have pix I can e-mail you.

UMmm.... I think he's trying to sell his A4 (for $8,000 more than its worth) not trying to buy a new one.

To the OP: devaluation is a bitch... and so is the economy right now so you'll have a harder time trying to sell your car. GL
