My car's fuel pump (2002 A4 B6 1.8T FWD) is making whining noise. Replaced the fuel filter but the noise remains. I think I have to replace fuel pump ...

People recommend Bosch 040 and some purchased this from DTHaus. Their website seems non-accessable at this moment ...I am wondering where people buy this part.

Is there any alternative to the OEM besides Bosch 040?... The local Audi specialist gave me a quote of 430 dollars for the OEM fuel pump. I am looking for cheaper alternative ....

Any help and suggestion is very much appreciated !
