Im pretty sure that the valve cover gasket and cam tensioner seal Is leaking causing the burning smell in the cabin when the heat is on. Anybody know what this should cost to repair? Probably won't go to the dealer, might just trade it in, a few other issues, like the falling headliner that I don't want to fix.

 

depends on the shop or dealer. i've seen anywhere between upper $300s to upper $400s.

 

not that tough of a job for under a $100 in parts IIRC.
