Default 04 a4 75000 mile maintenance (CVT)

Hey guys, I have a 04 a4 1.8t CVT(I know) and I just did my 75,000 mile maintenance, had my TB changed, serpentine, plugs, so on. However I was told about the whole "ATF is lifetime do not change" so I didn't do it [yet]. In my maintenance handbook one of the things to be done at this mileage is "check the following:" and it has listed: -Continuaously variable transmission (multitronic) - Change ATF. (all models Audi allroad, Audi a8 and audi TT). Are they saying change ATF for all models that are in parentheses? Or all models period cause I'm assuming allroad = quatro which is opposite of CVT. Or just change CVT models. Ooor do they just check the oil and leave it at that. Can someone take a look at their handbook and tell me what you think or possibly did? I know I'm over analyzing it.

My understanding is you are supposed to change the ATF oil on a B6 CVT every 40k.

I can confirm that the servicing schedule does state to change the ATF at 35,000miles and at 75,000 miles on the Multitronic Transmission.
