0W-40 or 5W-40 for my 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Turbo?

Default 0W-40 or 5W-40 for my 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Turbo?

I been using 0W-40 for my car, but should i continue using 0w-40 or should i change it to 5W-40 for summer? Or it doesnt make difference?

my mechanic said use 5W-40, same car

Mine seems to do fine on a steady diet of Mobil 1 0w40, year round. On some level, I kinda doubt the difference between 5w40 and 0w40 is gigantic anyway...

Alright so for now, summer, i should use Castrol 5w-40 or Mobil 5w-40?

Whatever way you go, make sure you're using synthetic.

oil weights should be used in accordance to outside air temp. If u live where its hot a thick oil is a good idea as it holds up better in higher tempretures.

I live in NY so currently its getting warmer, so i think 5w-40 will be a good choice for now
