is there any difference looks wise between these years? some seem to look alot nicer then others. can anyone tell me why?

^^ agreed. theres been a lot of questions just like this over the last month...just go to pages 2 and 3 of the B6 forums and there will be lots of good stuff

 

I'll quickly summarize it for ya, 2002-2005 year models are basically the same design, however for 2004-2005 models there was the ultrasport edition which had sportier bumpers and wheels. pretty much straight forward.

no,the ultrasport models got (essentially) an s4 body kit with different wheels.

s4s got a v8 under the hood, as well as different suspension, and alcantra recaro seats

 

Usually all car makers will "pimp" out a models last two years or so. If you check the current A3, it has all kinds of visual additions (and engine upgrades/tweaks) over the previous models years 08+. Also the A4 B7 2007/2008 models had various small changes done to them. The '07 received a smaller Sat Antenna and an upgraded 2.0TFSI (BWT engine), new in dash 6 CD changer with MP3! As well as clear blinker lights (German Models). The '08 got the S-Line body kit added.

As far as the B6's if you check out the different years, you will definitely see a difference in a 2001/02 compared to a 2004/05 models!
