My 1.9DTI starts first time but then will not accelerate past tick over and this is followed by the heater warning light coming on. After the first time, it started properly just as the recovery arrived so I drove it home but the next morning the same thing happened and I had to be recovered to the garage. Initially the fault reappeared but then everything reset and went back to normal. The car stayed at the garage for almost a week but the fault never recurred so I took the car and used it as normal including a long trip over to Leeds. A few days later I went to Colne at the far end of the M65 to do some shopping. On returning to the car the same fault occurred and I went home on the back of a wagon again, the car returning to the garage. The following day the fault was still there and an expert with £80k of diagnostic equipment tried to find the fault. Within a few minutes of connecting the computer everything reset and has worked since though the car has remained at the garage with the hope that the fault will recur.

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH A CAUSE AND A CURE??
