2002 Audi A4 3.0L fuel pump problems
Hi well long story short my uncle give me a 2002 Audi A4 that he bought salvage some years ago, he couldn't ever fix it so he passed on to me, the problem with the car is that first of all the gas tank floor had some sludge since the gas was sitting down on the car for about 4 years (NOT KIDDING 4 YEARS!!!). So here I am I took off the gas tank, clean it up with thinner, put it back again and I bought the pump that the Audi dealer told me it was for my vin number on the car, and of course now I don't know how to connect the pump or putting the new one on the clean tank since when I took over the car the pump was already been took off. Dammmm I know huh?? such a mess, well I am not in a hurry to fix it right now but I would appreciate any help that you guys could provide me with on how to connect the new pump since it has a lot of connections:
1. That goes to the fuel filter
2. The return one
3. Another in the center of the base of the pump which only leads to a tiny little hose that apparently goes back into the tank
4. and another extra pipe that goes connected to the return hose but it goes inside of the tank, but honestly I couldn't find any place where that thing goes.
Can someone please help me out I already bought the pump which cost me like around 320 dlls and I had to dismount the whole suspension just to take out the tank so I could clean it and I really want to start the car so I know that I am not just wasting money. Thanks a lot in regards I would really appreciate any help.
