2003 A4 Cat Replacement
I have an 03 A4 Cabriolet with the 3.0 v6 engine. I want to replace the cat, and am curious how hard it is, and how to do it. Also, I think its Bank 2 that needs it... which side is that, drivers or passengers?

Beyond too hard on a 3.0L. First timers with a RACK takes about 5-6 hours with a wide array of tools. The weekend warrior? About as hard as dropping the trans, because you have to loosen the trans and subframe, just to get that turd out of there.
My advice, have a pro do it. Unless you have lots of time on your hands.
