Default 2003 A4 - Problem --- HELP!!

Two of my ignition coils went out - it was under warranty and was towed to dealer who replaced 2 of the coils and 4 spark plugs.

I got it back and all seemed fine for a few days - Then it started to act like it did right before the others went bad ----

Warranty since expired, so I replaced the other two ignition coils myself, with some I got from Autozone. It did not help.

It seems to idle loud- and when i drive in the 40 to 60 mile an hour range, it feels like it isnt getting enough gas. Like it is missing and it vibrates alot. When I let off the gas, it runs fine.

I dont know what to check next - any suggestions???
Thanks!!

Just get the Hitachi E coilpacks. Replace all 4 when you do so

I have an 2002 1.8T and when I had a coil failure, the dealer replaced all four stating that "...this is a recall item...". Not sure if that's the case with a 2003, but worth a look.

When coil packs blow, it is wise to replace all four, if you can get Hitachi "e" like stated above. If you replace crap with crap, then its gonna run like crap. I would double check the gap on the spark plugs, just in case.
