I have received the letter from Audi to replace the ignition coils. Audi change three out of four. Recently, engine check light is on. I called to Audi, they charged the ignition Coil No. 2 for $35 yesterday and today again engine check light on. I called to Open Road Audi Vancouver, Canada and waiting for their call back.
Many of 2003 A4 Quattro users have the same problem. This model has a faulty ignition system. It is a bad reputation for Audi.

i have an 03 audi a4 FWD and my idle seems to be rougher than it use to be and sometimes takes a cpl seconds to turn on when i turn my key does this have to do with my ignition coils? i asked audi if there was any recalls on my car and they went nah man nah, but never actually looked it up

Find a new dealership or talk to the manager. Ignition Coil was a recall item for all 2003 1.8T engines and beyond. They simply didn't want to do the recall work as they make no money doing it.
