2003 Audi A4 CVT "AS"
So like everyone else out there I'm having some trans problems.
I am hoping someone can give me so help and answers to this issue.
The car will not move at all and is in limp mode. The error code that I get is P1813 Pressure Control Solenoid 1 Electrical. The issue I am trying to solve and have answered is that the transmission measuring block 007 field 4 has "AS". The engine rpms and transmission are out of sync and from what is said it needs a new transmission.
So my question is what is the actual issue? Is it the clutch/plates within the trans or "flywheel" that buts up to the engine? Can this be repaired and fixed?
To be honest I put to much money into the car to give up on solving the issue and I'm not going to spend $2000+ on a new trans.
The TCM was repaired and valve body was replaced.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Incredible how many people have viewed your post and no-one has replied or provided any assistance to you..I have noticed this thruout the audiforums. Seems like the moderators have been away for a long time and the website needs new moderators to ensure this website continues to be invaluable..
One suggestion would be to goto your local public library and use their in-house web resources to access Mitchell1 or other automotive service and technical assistance. That is where I finally was able to get copies of the Technical Service Bulletins (TSB's) which the Audi stealership wouldn't provide me with.
Cheers. Hope this message hasn't reached you tooooooooo late.
