Recently purchased (from Family) 2004 A4 cabriolet, now at 34000 miles Flashing Trans Lights. I had local trans shop pull codes 17086 Transmission Control Module Electrical Malfunction or defective (po702) & 16987 Internal(po603). They said trans module was bad so I did some research, pulled the module and sent it to Xemonex in Canada. they returned it, said it was repaired. I carefully reinstalled and changed out as much fluid as I could and put it all back together and Lights are still flashing?

Just curious whet these codes really mean. Any thoughts?
