Default A4 1.8t quattro clutch peddal stuck to floor

yesterday just driving along normally i went to shift and found that my clutch pedal was already fully depressed ...i pulled over pulled the pedal back up and it goes down and returns but feels extremly soft and only disengages the clutch about halfway with makes it impossible to drive (got it home by power shifting)...i already ordered a clutch slave but am not sure if thats the issue... any input would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance

edit: btw its a 2003

Try bleeding the slave but your slave might be bad.

When you put the slave in did you feel tension on the fork and did the old slave that you pulled out look good?

If its not the clutch or slave, you must have a leak in the system somewhere.

yeah i mean it looked good and felt ok... the fork seemed to have pressure on it i got a screw driver and tried to push it in but i couldnt... i have no idea where to go im just hoping the clutch itself isnt bad
