I've always hated the seats in my 2002 - I really can't go more than 2 hours without getting lower back/sciatica pain. Well, now the situation has gone from bad to worse, as I've recently dislocated my hip - my first time driving the car yesterday since the injury, I was in pain before I got to the store 10 minutes away.

The seats that are in there now are the ones that I think come with the sport package - black "pleather", nearly fully manual - only the lumbar adjustment is power.

First, what factory Audi or VW seats could be donors? Do all B6 and B7's have the same mounting points? What about TT, A3, A6, etc seats? I realize that if I get something with full power, that functionality will need to be added.

Anyone put after-market seats in their A4 or even factory seats from another marque? My Merkur has Recaros donated from an Alfa Romeo, so I'm not opposed to such things, but not looking for a huge project either. I have a full black cloth Recaro interior from a 2005 Jetta (now for sale) that I purchased with the intention of installing, but I quickly discovered that it would have been a huge project.

Yep, quite familiar with the S4 seats. I'd certainly consider those for a fair price. Anyone know if the B5 S4 seats will bolt in without too much drama?
