Default A4 to A8 brake uprade - Bracket problem

Hello,

I know the brackets I need are 8N0615125. The brackets I have are 8N0615125A, at least according to the Audi box they came in, I can not find a part number on the brackets to confirm this. The brackets appear to be for a dual or quad piston caliper.

So I guess my question is: Is 8N0615125A a valid Audi part number for a caliper bracket and what is the application?

Let this be a warning for anyone else looking at doing the upgrade to make sure they order 8N0615125 and not 8N0615125A. There are a few post out there showing 8N0615125A as the correct bracket to order.

Thank you,
Steve

The brackets I have are from a V6 TT. Let this be a warning to make sure you get the 1.8T brackets

Sorry my bad. The Mk1 TTs never came with a V6 they are W6s. Just make sure you get the brackets from cars with the 1.8T motor
