Hello everyone,
I am new here and was hoping for some help. I have searched and read about most of everyone's tranny issues and have not seen one yet that is similar to mine. I have a 2002 A4 avant quattro with the tiptronic CVT and I have 56000 miles on it. There are no leaks. The issue is cold start, thud feeling from park to drive (car is parked with ebrake on), then the car feels like it is stuck in 5th, no power. If I put in park and shut the car off and restart it works fine. Is the tranny going bad or the TCM. Any suggestions would be great, thanx

 

My bad, I do not have the CVT. It is just the 5spd auto w/tip. Any Ideas?

 

OK no ideas? How about extended warranty options. Anyone have luck getting a transmission warrantied?

 

just throwing out an idea hook up vag com and see if there is an error and it will prob tell u whats wrong
