Aftermarket Speakers
My speakers arent quite holding up anymore and are cracking/cutting out, so I figured it was time to put some new speaks in. Any recommendations? I have put Alpine Type-S in my vehicles and have loved them. Just seeing if you guys have any input or what is best for the money. Thanks
let me know what you decide and how it goes as i'm looking to replace mine in the future.
IIRC the stock speakers have a "weird" mounting pattern. you might need an adapter or have to do some modding to get the speakers you get to fit properly as there are not many options that fit right

I think for the door speakers u need to rig it up cuase of the way the mounting depth is. I know there needs to be some modification when upgrading speakers. do u plan on using an amp to power these speakers or just cut and replace ?

I replaced my factory Bose speakers with Infinity 6030cs components, they are 2ohm and work well with the stock Symphony II hu. Now all I have to do is re-run the wiring for the front speakers because I believe the OEM wiring through the door has a slight issue, which it did have with the stk speakers.
