Ok, I've done lots of searching and can't seem to find any definitive answers. I want to change the siren for the alarm (obviously because it sucks) I know where it is and how to get to it, but I noticed it has 3 wires attached to it. Does anyone know what each of these wires are? And would it be easier to simply tap into the factory siren, rather than replacing it?

where did you locate the 3 wires at?

 

I believe the siren has an alternate power supply. so you have a ground, signal, and power supply. hope that helps.
